Amanda Delacruz - WellSteps

Amanda Delacruz

I’ve always been passionate about wellness, and as I’ve deepened my understanding, especially during my college years, I’ve felt a strong desire to share that knowledge with others. I believe many people lack awareness about what it truly means to be well, and I’m eager to help bridge that gap and guide them towards better wellness.

– Amanda’s Best Advice –

Move your body every single day, in whatever way you can!

What do you find most rewarding about your work in the wellness industry?

Seeing people become a healthier version of themselves is absolutely fascinating. I am making a big difference in the lives of people and I love that!

What is one word that describes you best?

Outgoing! I consider myself to be a very extroverted person. I love getting to know people and their stories. I want to be with my friends and family as much as I can!

What do you believe is the most important aspect of a successful wellness program for clients?

Personalization plays a big part, I think. Everyone is different so tailoring the program to fit each individual’s unique needs, goals, and preferences ensures that it is relevant and engaging for them.

What are some activities you enjoy outside of work?

I LOVE to bake and cook! Trying out new recipes is so fun and I love eating the final product. Since high school I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen. I also love being outside of my house whenever possible, I.E_ with friends, exploring with my family, hiking, etc.

What’s a book or movie that has had a significant impact on your life?

Remember the Titans is one of my all-time favorite movies. My admiration goes beyond my passion for football; it’s also about the powerful messages the film conveys. It demonstrates that despite our differences, we can find common ground and work together to achieve success. I also see football as a powerful metaphor for life—where we might face setbacks or lose some battles, but by giving our best and collaborating with those around us, we can ultimately triumph.
